The Aims of the Society
Th e advancement of education in the field of horticulture, and encouragement of the art of cultivating gardens. To this end the Society shall seek to foster public interest in horticulture, and the promotion of fair, and open competition and the holding of an annual floral, and vegetable show. The Leeds Horticultural Society hold their meetings once a month on the first Tuesday 7-30 pm for 8-00 pm at the St Chad's Centre, Otley Road. Headingley There is no entrance fee, but we do hold a raffle. The meetings are very well attended and we have a variety of speakers. Our adopted charity is St Gemma's for which we hold events to raise funds. We also send out, to all our members a quarterly bulletin The Leeds Gardener All are welcome, and having enjoyed the evening we hope you will consider joining our happy and friendly Society. We are a UK RegisteredCharity.
